{ Easy Almond Chocolate Snowballs }

I took the liberty of inviting myself plus 2 too my girlfriend's house for Christmas Eve. She's a great hostess with a million hilarious family members and always a gourmet spread.

I made those ornament cupcakes last night and although Will called to tell me how perfect they must look (without seeing them)lol. They were difficult...very difficult but turned out cute all the same. I'm opting for something chocolate-y, soft and cookie like to bring over to tara's this year. So these were perfect. They are so yummy. Perfect with a cup of coffee after a big savory meal!! I'm going to pile them high in a cool platter along with some coconut macaroons.
Ingredients:
1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker® sugar cookie mix

1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 egg
1/4 cup Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
1/4 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
1/2 cup finely chopped almonds
1 teaspoon almond extract
60 Hershey's® Kisses® milk chocolates, unwrapped
3/4 cup powdered sugar

Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter, egg, flour, cocoa, almonds and extract until soft dough forms.

2. Shape dough into sixty 3/4-inch balls; wrap each around 1 milk chocolate candy. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

3. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. Cool slightly, about 5 minutes.

4. Roll cookies in powered sugar. Cool completely, about 15 minutes. Re-roll cookies in powdered sugar. Store tightly covered

By Far The Yummiest Oatmeal Raisin Cookies EVER

I'm having a tag sale tomorrow & thought it would be a nice choice for a good morning cookie to sell. I spotted the recipe on big oven but tweaked a few things due to the ingredients I had on hand. Whatever I did worked and they came out so good. Delicious old fashion flavor & so000 moist. Ohhhh let me tell you, these are chewy, sweet, and still warm might I add as I write this review. Can you believe the dedication? The whole house smells yummy. This is another go-to recipe that I'll pass down to the kids...lol.

Ingredients
1 1/4 cups (I can't believe it's not Butter)
3/4 cup Brown sugar
1/2 cup Sugar
1 Egg
1 teaspoon real Vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups All purpose flour
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon all spice
1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
3 cups Oats old-fashioned only
1 cup Raisins (I mixed golden & black because it's what I had)

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Beat I can't believe it's not butter (for baking) and sugars until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add combined flour, baking soda, salt and spices; mix well. Stir in oats and raisins.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 10 minutes for chewy cookies.
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet. Remove to wire rack.
Store tightly covered.
